Cancellation Policy
Cancellation and rescheduling rules for Ross & Associates Notary Publics Direct appointments.
Cancelling Before Travel Begins
Clients may cancel appointments before travel has begun or before the appointment time has been reserved under our Travel Fee Policy. Where no travel has been dispatched and no travel fee applies, no cancellation charge is due.
After Confirmation or Dispatch
Once an appointment has been confirmed and the travel fee has been collected — or once travel has begun or a notary or signing agent has been dispatched — the travel fee remains non-refundable. This protects reserved scheduling time and unavoidable travel expenses.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling may be permitted subject to notary availability. Where practical, we will apply a previously paid travel fee toward a rescheduled appointment. Repeated rescheduling or last-minute changes may require an additional travel fee.
Standard Cancellation Window
For standard, non-dispatched appointments, at least 24 hours' notice is requested. Cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit any deposit or the travel and dispatch portion of the booking.
No-Show
If the signer is not present, refuses to sign, fails to provide valid identification, or cannot complete the notarial act, the full travel and dispatch fee remains non-refundable. Notarial fees for acts not performed are waived in accordance with Nevada law.
