Terms & Conditions

The legal terms governing your use of the Ross & Associates Notary Publics Direct website, booking platform, and notarial services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or using any service provided by Ross & Associates Notary Publics Direct ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all incorporated policies referenced on this site.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the website and our services immediately.

2. Services Provided

We provide commissioned Nevada notarial services, including mobile notary, Remote Online Notarization (RON), loan signing, apostille assistance, immigration document support, court reporting referrals, business document notarization, and field inspection / verification services.

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We do not draft, prepare, modify, or interpret legal documents and are not responsible for the legal sufficiency, wording, accuracy, or content of any document presented for notarization. Any guidance offered is administrative and procedural only.

3. Eligibility & Identification

All signers must be physically or virtually present, of sound mind, acting of free will, and able to communicate in a language understood by the notary or a qualified interpreter where permitted by law.

Government-issued photo identification is required and must satisfy Nevada notarial law and any applicable RON identity-verification standards.

4. Client Responsibility

Clients are solely responsible, prior to notarization or signing, for: reviewing all documents in full; confirming names, dates, and identifying information are correct; verifying that all required pages are present and complete; and understanding the contents and legal effect of the documents being signed.

Our notaries do not interpret, explain, or advise on the legal meaning of documents. If you have questions about the contents or legal effect of a document, you should consult a licensed attorney before the appointment.

5. Right of Refusal

A notary may, in their sole professional judgment, decline any notarial act they believe to be unlawful, deceptive, coerced, incomplete, or outside the scope of their commission.

6. Finality of Notarial Services — All Sales Final

Notarial acts are legally binding professional services. Once a notarial act has been performed — including identity verification, signature execution, application of the notarial seal or stamp, completion of the acknowledgment or jurat, recording of the journal entry, or finalization of a Remote Online Notarization session — the service is considered fully rendered, complete, and final.

Due to the legal and irreversible nature of notarial services, completed notarial acts and executed appointment services are non-refundable. Notarial acts are legally recorded, journal entries are permanent, and seals or stamps cannot be revoked once applied. Completed services cannot legally be undone after execution.

All sales are final for: completed notarizations, completed Remote Online Notarizations, executed loan signings, completed inspections, apostille processing and submission, travel and dispatch services, after-hours and emergency appointments, document witnessing, and any completed appointment services.

7. Fees & Payment

Fees are established at booking and may include statutory notarial fees, travel and dispatch charges, after-hours surcharges, emergency dispatch fees, inspection visit fees, and platform fees for RON sessions.

Payment is due at the time of booking or service unless prearranged. Travel, mobile dispatch, same-day, and emergency appointment fees are required in advance and become non-refundable once a notary or signing agent has been dispatched or travel has commenced. We accept major payment methods, including secure online payments processed by third-party providers.

8. Refused or Incomplete Notarizations

If a notarization cannot be completed due to missing or invalid identification, incomplete documents, an unwilling signer, lack of awareness or capacity, refusal to sign, or any failure to meet Nevada notarial requirements, the appointment, travel, and dispatch fees may still apply in full. Notarial fees for acts that were not performed will be waived in accordance with Nevada law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ross & Associates Notary Publics Direct's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the fees actually paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless our company, owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of false statements, fraudulent identification, or misuse of notarized documents.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive venue for disputes is Clark County, Nevada.
